Family Matters

Building Better Opportunities

Our Family Matters Project aims to help people in building their skills and confidence to get into work and is part of the Building Better Opportunities programme.

It’s suitable for people aged 16 and over, support sessions are one to one and targets are set within a personal time limit for each participant and to fit in with your other commitments. We offer a safe and supportive environment to develop the confidence and skills to build a CV, complete mock interviews and apply for jobs, apprenticeships and training opportunities.

As well as improving your employability skills, you are also able to complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification, which improves confidence and employability.

Our staff are friendly and approachable and will tailor their support to meet your needs.

This programme is based at Palace Play, Shop, Eat.
