QUALIFIED YOUTH AND COMMUNITY WORKER

We are looking to recruit a youth and community worker, to enhance and support an already thriving youth provision, to communities and young people and being a positive force for change in their lives.

Duties will include –

 – To work as part of the Youth Team to develop engaging, informative and meaningful youth activities through detached and Centre based work.

– To deliver a detached programme in identified areas of need.

 – Consult with young people and local community throughout all engagement opportunities to capture needs and wants of our targeted audience.

– To support young people to make improved choices and decisions within the youth setting and within their wider personal lives.

 – To support with Community Engagement Activities.

 – Offer robust safeguarding and share all concerns with appropriate staff and agencies.

Pay Scale – £27,711 – £29,903 Pro Rata (Depending on skills and experience)

Hours – 30 hours per week, working over 5 days to include evenings and weekends FIXED TERM UNTIL 31st DECEMBER 2025
